Let's build a stronger community.
RyKar Homes is on track to have a very good first full year in business, and we want to thank all of our valued customers who have trusted us to build their new homes. Success brings a civic duty to give back to the community that has given so much to my family and to our business. So my wife Karen and I have selected three local charities to support on behalf of our family and yours.
Each of these organizations has a special place with our family. You see, our 15 year old son Alex, pictured with me above, has Cerebral Palsy. Over the last 15 years we have come to realize how many families like ours live in our community. Countless leaders, volunteers and amazing organizations literally give everything they have to serve their community. They support the needs of children and adults with special needs in Gaston County, and they need our support in return.
After closing on your new home, we'll contribute $500 to your choice of one of these three charities. And if you can also make a personal donation, I'll match that donation up to an additional $500.
I also encourage you, your family and your friends to keep them in mind if you have some time to share. There's work to be done on the horse farm at Victory Farms. Volunteers are needed at Webb Street School, and Holy Angel's could use your help at their stores and housing facilities.
Please take a moment to learn about each of these organizations through the links on this page, and please help however you can. Thank you!
